Tenth Church in Vancouver, Canada, began in 1935 when a small group gathered for prayer. After outgrowing the home, they met in a dance hall before purchasing land, building a sanctuary in 1939. It later became a multi-site church, launching new locations across Vancouver.
Hats off to Tenth Church for being inclusionary and welcoming to women's groups, kids and even a One BC meeting when the Vancouver school board kicked them out of a booked venue last minute. A place that unites like this is uncommon these days, support them because they will support you. God bless their goodness.
If you like your Christianity mixed with Critical Theory, then this is your spiritual home. Personally, I go to church to seek God — not to have Territorial Acknowledgements pushed down my throat.
