Sanctus Church in Ontario, Canada, began in 1985 with 40 people meeting at Fairport Beach Public School. It later moved to a permanent home on Kingston Road and, in 1999, relocated to 599 Bayly Street in Ajax as Carruthers Creek Community Church. Renamed C4 Church in 2014, it became Sanctus Church in 2019 and developed into a multi-site church.

A very good and passionate Christian church. Also a large church with a basement and a sensory room for children. There are also a family room, a nursery room, a mother's nursing room, and accessible washrooms. A very large parking lot and a small gym. Clean and spacious washrooms. The church has a youth area and the main adult/young adult area. There's also a coffee/tea station near the main sanctuary. There are 2 service times: 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. For each of the service times, the coffee/tea station is open and being manned by church members. There coffee, decaf coffee, and a variety of teas. There are 2 kinds of sugar packets, a bottle of honey, and oat/almond milk. There are these cups, cup lids, and stirring sticks too. Today's coffee has a sour taste to it. The decaf tasted fine and normal. Overall, good coffee/tea station. The worship and sermon is good. A large stage at the front of the sanctuary with the worship team on it singing and playing songs (drums, guitar, bass, vocals, piano). There's a balcony floor (second floor of more seating) up a flight of stairs. They also record their live worship and sermon to the online version. The pastors spoke well. The singers sang well, though the main singer's mic wasn't that good, so half the time I couldn't hear what the main singer was saying. The prayer team member that we talked to prayed for us and it was a very good prayer. We also talked to one of the main pastors and she was very helpful, in terms of answering my questions and helping me clear up any misunderstandings. And this pastor, she didn't shy away from talking about the demonic forces and the spiritual battle that every Christian goes through. Apparently here, taking about the devil isn't a taboo subject (which is good). And she prayed for us as well. This is the second time my parents have come to this church. They told me the first time they came, the pastors and good people came.up to them, welcomed them in and talked to them. Trying to help and trying to provide the help that we so desperately need. Not only that, 3 of the pastors/elders or something emailed my dad and stuff. They seem to really care about people, especially people who aren't really yet the church members. It's my first time coming to Sanctus Church. And by far it is one of the better/best church experiences that I've had (coming from someone who has been to 3-4 churches in my lifetime). Overall, the church members are nice, the pastors and prayer team people are good and welcoming and helpful. There's a really good coffee/yes station with a constant refill of coffee, and sugar and milk and stuff. The church members see super passionate to loving God (raising hands, kneeling, and dancing during the worship portion). Even little kids and babies were in there and they were rather well behaved. Nice church so far. Looking forward to checking out the church some more and attending their Alpha classes/course. Edit: It seems like every week that I come the volume of the worship gets progressively louder and louder. They're making me go deaf. Wearing ear plugs doesn't exactly work well. I don't know how people can be inside the sanctuary and not have hearing problems.
Been a fan of this church through what I've heard and seen, but actually visiting has been such a great experience! Guests are taken care of, especially new parents as they have a diaper changing room AND a nursing room! Solid pastoral and leadership staff who 'get it', who through God's prompting and planning really encourage members to use their diverse spiritual gifts in a multitude of areas. May God be glorified!
I've learned so much and look forward to attending the service. The community is great!
Amazing pastors, especially our lead pastor! Definitely changed my life!
I have been to many many churches over the years and have been a believer for 15 years! I have come from the Jewish faith after struggling with addiction in my late teens. I have to say this is one of the most wonderful, biblically sound churches that I’ve ever attended. Pastor John is incredible and is such a gifted and anointed teacher. I found out about Sanctus church because both Pastor Sam and an elder at the church preached at a previous church that I was attending. I look forward to driving 40 minutes every Sunday to join for such a biblical message BUT also my favorite part being the message is coming from such a wonderful, honest but gentle and relatable human being! I would love to join and feel so right about tithing to this church. The site pastor Angela is also beyond incredible and her love for God exudes in every single word that she says. I visited the worship night and it was so beautiful! Praying for all of these other people in the notebook. It was very powerful!
