Passion City Church was founded by Louie and Shelley Giglio in Atlanta, Georgia, USA in 2008, growing out of the Passion movement they had led among college students since 1997. The church began gathering in the 7 Stages Theatre in Atlanta before moving to its current 515 location in 2010. It has since expanded to multiple locations in Atlanta and Washington.
