SOS Lyon is based in Lyon, France. It was founded in 2019 by Matt Marvane and Sarah Marvane in their living room with a small group of people, before growing into a larger church community. It is affiliated with Fédération des Églises du Plein Évangile de France, and Conseil national des évangéliques de France.
A very vibrant and active community. They send emissaries to Africa and organize concerts (which are expensive). They promote prosperity (according to what I've heard). It's okay to be poor, but it's not normal to remain so longer than necessary. You come as you are, but you should never remain poor. If you stay poor for too long, ask yourself: What have I done to deserve this? It's not right... If you think like this, you can belong to this community; it needs people like you to finance its very costly projects. Otherwise, the entire community is young, with a few older members. The welcome from the dedicated members is friendly and welcoming. The pastor is professional. In my case, I don't know how I can help them, except by praying for them.
