Eastgate Christian Centre in Auckland, New Zealand, began as Pigeon Mountain Fellowship. The church purchased and developed its current Pakūranga facilities in 1999 and launched a second campus in Te Kauwhata in 2017.

Visited the Eastgate Christian Center on the eve of the 19th and was awestruck at the amazing effort that the entire church community had put *together in unity* to present such a beautiful show. The synchrony of how all activities worked in coordination impressed us. The Christmas walk thru is an event they host annually and because of the nature of the show, people are taken into the show area in batches, meaning, a considerable wait time looms. Buy they had preempted this and organized activities and games and jokes and performances and light displays and 'robotic skits' to keep everyone excited and engaged , growing in them a spark of excitement for the final show. The presenters , the actors, those in the queues who kept us occupied , all staff, did their best to bring about a fantastic event. The fact that eveybit of this show was human involvement and hard yet loving work , deserves much accolade. Blessings much church family and Merry Christmas 2025..
Christmas light show is not as great as it used to be. I remember having "in the air tonight" play loudly, synchronized with the story telling and tremendous light show. The memory was forever etched in my mind. Currently, you can't hear the music well or even the words to the story despite the story being broadcasted on a radio channel, it's not the same atmosphere. It's too soft and you can only hear conversations of the crowds in queue.
Always an amazing atmosphere for the Christmas lights and walk through and the staff make it really memorable! Thank you!
First time attended the Christmas light show. Highly recommended and well done for the hard work!
I love the friendliest staff and the community how they help and support each other and how they are very understanding and they also keep your personal life private and confidential . I love that the service isn't long for me especially and how welcoming and warm they are .and they don't judge you by your skin colour etc .. they are very very friendly .so if your looking for a place that will accept you etc then come on in to this church there is no harm in trying what have you got to loose . If you don't like it and not comfortable then that's understandable we understand .everyone is different in their own way. But that's up too you and only if you want too it's your decision .
